The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, has been detained by the officers of the Department of State Services, DSS. A credible source in the service told our reporter that the suspended CBN boss was picked up shortly after his suspension was authorized by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The insider said that the secret police had planned to take Emefiele before now, except for the subtle involvement of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
